The Forest Enhancement Society of BC has awarded $28 million from the Province toward 43 new and expanded fibre-recovery projects and 31 new and expanded wildfire-mitigation projects in BC.
NACFOR is one of those successful applicants for wildfire-mitigation project funding. NACFOR will receive funding to complete treatment at Wensley Creek Recreation Area – Unit 5, Phase 1. And, funding to complete a prescription for WRR work near New Denver.
