The Arrow Lakes Historical Society presented the logging slideshow again, and recorded it, at their society Christmas dinner. You can view the presentation here.

In spite of the short run to the lake company officials found the use of a railway to be a great method of getting their logs to water. A team of horses replaced the usual little steam engine used for moving the car. A large crew of Swedish workers made the operation one of great efficiency. A large steam donkey was used to run the highlead system. It was one of very few in the BC interior where timber was plentiful enough to make it viable.
